Pa. School Boards Association Retains CWS for Security Window Film Installation Project
MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Pennsylvania School Boards Association has hired Commercial Window Shield for a security window film installation project at the association’s Safety Institute.
The company will be installing 8-mil clear shatter resistant window film with a 4-sided wet glaze attachment system on select door and entryway glass throughout the building to deter potential violent intruders.
Security film installation begins Oct. 24 and will be completed on deadline in several days.
The security film installation project continues a national trend in which school districts are acting to protect their buildings from potential violent intruders with the installation of safety and security window film. Including this project, Commercial Window Shield has protected the glass in more than 335 school buildings in 11 states.
