WASHINGTON  Commercial Window Shield has completed a shatter resistant security film installation project near the U.S. Capitol and U.S. House of Representatives buildings complex.

The project, at 250 E St. SW, involved installing 7-mil clear shatter resistant security film utilizing a wet glaze attachment system on 176 windows.

Commercial Window Shield was retained for the project by ADI Construction of Springfield, Va. Building owner Piedmont Office Realty Trust of Johns Creek, Ga., hired ADI to renovate one floor of the building for GSA tenant Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.

Commercial Window Shield security film installers were given five days to complete their work while coordinating their efforts with the other trades involved in the renovation project. The company, as usual, completed their work on time to the satisfaction of ADI.

Commercial Window Shield is the country’s largest installer of shatter resistant window film and solar control window films.
