Turner Construction, the largest construction company in the U.S., hired Commercial Window Shield to install more than 2,000 sq. ft. of tinted switchable smart film on all the glass of the 9,100 sq. ft. Capital One Lounge. Initially, the company had to remove the solar control window film that was attached to the glass. Once the tinted switchable smart film was installed it was easy for lounge employees to control the sun and privacy situation. With the switch on, the glass appeared normal with easy visibility for lounge guests. On days when there is a glaring sun issue, the switch is turned off, activating the film’s tinting capabilities and eliminating the harsh glare.
