Safety and security film
Commercial Window Shield was retained by Calvert County Public Schools to protect its buildings from unwanted intrusions with the installation of 16-mil security film with a wet glaze attachment. The film was installed on all first-floor windows and entryways in 26 elementary, middle and high school buildings housing 15,870 students.
The safety and security film also helps protect the windows during potential foul weather events, such as hurricanes and tornadoes. The project started during the school’s summer break and was completed on time by the beginning of the new school year.
