CWS Lands 2nd New Jersey School Security Window Film Installation Project
MAYS LANDING, N.J. – Commercial Window Shield, the nation’s leader in protecting glass in school buildings, has been awarded a second contract involving the same school system.
Aliano Brothers Construction N.J. selected Commercial Window Shield to install security film at William Davies Middle School and Joseph Shaner Elementary School. Earlier this month, the company was hired by another New Jersey construction company, Dandrea Construction of West Berlin, N.J., to install safety and security window film at the George Hess Educational Complex. George Hess, and the Davies and Shaner schools are part of the Hamilton Township School District.
The Davies and Shaner schools project calls for the installation of 21-mil film held in place with a four-sided wet glaze attachment system on all vulnerable first-floors doors and windows and the main entryways.
CWS installers are installing security window film at George Hess at present. When completed they will begin shatter resistant window film installation at the Davies and Shaner school buildings. The security window film installation projects will be concluded by the beginning of school next month.
The Hamilton Township School District project continues a national trend in which school districts are acting to protect their buildings from potential violent intruders with the installation of safety and security window film. Including this project, Commercial Window Shield has protected the glass in more than 330 school buildings in 10 states.
Elsewhere, the company has completed safety and security film projects at Geneva, Minooka and Lake Zurich school districts in suburban Chicago; Calvert and Carroll County [Md.] Public Schools; Mechanicsburg and Bath Local Schools, near Lima, Ohio; Bellmore and Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools, N.Y.; Hartford, Glastonbury and Simsbury school districts in Connecticut; Norfolk and Henry County in Virginia; Beaverton, Ore.; Lansdale, Pa. and Katy and Rockwell schools districts in Texas.
With more than 30 years experience, Commercial Window Shield is one of the nation’s leading security and solar control window film installers.
