LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas National Guard has hired Commercial Window Shield for a reflective solar control window film installation project at 18 buildings around the state.

The film is highly reflective, creating a mirror-like finish preventing passersby from seeing inside the building.

The security-related project evolved out of a similar project with the Tennessee National Guard, which secured the windows in all of its facilities after a gunman killed four Marines in a shooting spree in 2015 at a recruiting center and Navy reserve facility miles apart.

The Arkansas project will begin this month.

Commercial Window Shield has considerable experience with solar control and security window film installation projects at U.S. and state military bases and facilities nationwide. Projects have been completed at Edwards, Wright Patterson, Whiteman and Shaw Air Force bases; at General Mitchell Air Reserve Station; and for the U.S. Coast Guard and the New Mexico National Guard.

With more than 30 years experience, Commercial Window Shield is the nation’s leading security window film and solar reflective window film installers. The U.S. Capitol, FBI headquarters, Pentagon, all House of Representative and Library of Congress buildings, O’Hare International Airport, the Willis Tower [former Sears Tower], Merrill Lynch headquarters, and the Denver and Philadelphia mints feature solar and security window films installed by Commercial Window Shield.
