WASHINGTON – Commercial Window Shield has completed a safety and security window film installation project for the U.S. Court of Appeals in the nation’s capital.
The project involved installing 15-mil safety and security window film with a wet glaze attachment system onto the suite entry glass on four floors of the building. The window film and specialized attachment system serves as a deterrent to attempted forced entries due to its shatter resistant components.
Commercial Window Film installers completed the fragment retention window film installation project on time and on budget in early February.
The company has been at the forefront of the security window film installation era from the beginning more than 40 years ago.
Its projects over the years have included the U.S. Capitol, FBI headquarters, the Pentagon, all House of Representative and Library of Congress buildings, Grand Central Terminal, Merrill Lynch headquarters, the United Nations, the Willis [former Sears] Tower, O’Hare and Seattle international airports, and the Philadelphia and Denver mints.
Additionally, Commercial Window Shield has been a leader in the installation of solar control film, switchable smart film, privacy/decorative film, radio frequency [RF] shielding and anti-bird strike window film.
