Project Detail
In the wake of a disturbing trend in violent school invasions nationwide, Commercial Window Shield was been retained by Calvert County Public Schools to protect its buildings from unwanted intrusions with the installation of safety and security window film. The film was installed on all first-floor windows and entryways in 26 elementary, middle and high school buildings housing 15,870 students.
The safety and security film will also help protect the windows during potential foul weather events, such as hurricanes and tornadoes.
The project started during the school’s summer break and was completed on time by the beginning of the new school year.
