West Va. Army National Guard Retains CWS for RF and Solar Film Project
KINGWOOD, W. Va. – The West Virginia National Guard has hired Commercial Window Shield for a multi-dimensional security window film installation project at its Camp Dawson base in Kingwood.
The project involves the installation of radio frequency [RF] shielding film on all the interior building windows of the one-story building. Commercial Window also will install reflective solar film on the exterior of all the same windows.
The intent of the Guard in hiring Commercial Window Shield for this security window film installation project is two-fold:
- The RF film will effectively protect against any attempted electronic eavesdropping by techie hacks or others.
- The reflective solar window film will limit visibility through the windows by outsiders, adding an additional layer of privacy.
The window film installation project is scheduled to begin this fall.
Commercial Window Shield is one of the country’s leading installers of solar reflective and radio frequency [RF] shielding window films. The company also has considerable experience installing security, solar and other window films at U.S. military bases and buildings around the country. Among them, projects have been completed for Camp Pendleton, Wright Patterson AFB, Edwards AFB, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, New Mexico National Guard, Whiteman AFB, the Army Space Command and the U.S. Coast Guard.
In the more well-known security and solar control window film market segment, Commercial Window Shield has installed window films at the U.S. Capitol, all U.S. House of Representative and Library of Congress buildings, Veterans Administration and Energy Department headquarters, the Willis [former Sears] Tower, FBI headquarters, Grand Center Terminal, O’Hare and SeaTac international airports, Merrill Lynch towers, George Brown Convention Center in Houston, and the Denver and Philadelphia mints.
