U.S. Military Solar Security Film Project Completed by CWS
FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. – Commercial Window Shield has completed a solar security film installation project on four buildings at a U.S. Army post that also serves as headquarters for the Pennsylvania National Guard.
The project, which began Nov. 7, involved installing 8-mil solar security film on 1,433 panes of glass in two barracks, a mess hall and an office building at Fort Indiantown Gap Military Reservation. The dual purpose film is shatter resistant and also offers the comfort benefit of sun control inside the buildings.
The project deadline was December, but Commercial Window Shield completed the work ahead of schedule. Post officials were pleased with the results.
“Everything went great. We really appreciated your company’s professionalism and expertise,” said U.S. Army Sergeant Major David Charest.
Aside from the Army and National Guard, the post is an active Army and National Guard training center and houses other state military organizations.
The Fort Indiantown project is nothing new for Commercial Window Shield. The company has completed security and solar film installations projects at more than 20 military bases.
With more than 30 years experience, Commercial Window Shield is one of the nation’s leading security and solar reflective window film installer.
