HITT Contracting Awards CWS Decorative Film Project for National Park Service
HERNDON, Va. — Commercial Window Shield has been awarded a decorative window film installation project at the National Park Service building in Herndon, Va.
The project calls for the installation of gradient decorative film, also known as privacy film, on all the glass office fronts and conference rooms on a single floor in the building. The film combines a decorative flair on glass as well as privacy, in stark contrast to plain glass offices and conference rooms.
HITT, one of the country’s leading general contractors, has partnered with Commercial Window Shield on numerous security window film and privacy film installation projects. For the National Park Service project, HITT will be renovating the entire building. The decorative window film installation project is part of the overall build out and will begin sometime this fall.
Privacy film is one of the fastest growing segments of the window film installation market, and Commercial Window Film has been one of the leading installers in this niche industry.
In the more well-known security and solar control window film market segment, Commercial Window Shield has installed window films at the U.S. Capitol, all U.S. House of Representative and Library of Congress buildings, Veterans Administration and Energy Department headquarters, the Willis [former Sears] Tower, FBI headquarters, Grand Center Terminal, O’Hare and SeaTac international airports, Merrill Lynch towers, George Brown Convention Center in Houston, and the Denver and Philadelphia mints.
