CWS RETAINED TO PROTECT WINDOWS IN USDA-OCCUPIED BUILDING
SHERWOOD, Ark. Commercial Window Shield has been awarded a contract to protect windows in a U.S. Department of Agriculture-occupied building in Sherwood, Ark.
The project is part of the General Services Administration’s security upgrade requirements when building owners renew their leases with the federal government. Building owner Linrock Investments LLC, Genesis Financial and Commercial Facilities Inc. brokered the deal with Commercial Window Shield, the nation’s leader in security window film installation.
The company will be installing 7-mil clear window film with a wet glaze attachment to the building’s windows, as stipulated in GSA’s security requirement language. The project, which will begin in October, will require precise coordination with USDA managers.
Since 2005, Commercial Window Shield has completed scores of GSA lease renewal security upgrade projects nationwide.
Among the company’s many high-profile security and solar reflective window film installation projects over the past 30 years are the U.S. Capitol, House of Representatives, Pentagon, FBI headquarters, Merrill Lynch headquarters, Grand Central Terminal, the Denver Mint, O’Hare International Airport and the Willis Tower [former Sears Tower].
