CWS Partners with Madico to Sell Medical Face Shields for Health Care, Retail and Other Frontline Employees
TAYLORS, S.C. – With the huge and growing demand for Personal Protective Equipment [PPEs] during the coronavirus pandemic, Commercial Window Shield is now selling medical face shields to health care and hospital systems, first responder agencies, retail grocery chains, national chain restaurants and other larger retailers.
The Safe-Gard Face Shields are being produced by Madico, Inc., a leading manufacturer of coated and laminated window films.
For front line health care providers and first responders, the Safe-Gard Face Shield protects against splashes during medical procedures and emergency medical situations while providing complete peripheral vision. The shield also can be used to extend the life of N95 face masks, which is particularly critical during the COVID-19 crisis with N95 masks in short supply.
For retail, and food service and other employees with direct contact with consumers, the face shield offers more complete protection while negating other issues – such as foggy eye glasses – associated with face masks.
The Safe-Gard Face Shield includes a comfortable, water-resistant, closed-cell, foam front with adjustable head fasteners and Velcro® closure to ensure a good seal.
Made in the United States with a patent pending, the Safe-Gard Face Shield is ANSI Z787.1-2015 certified against droplet hazards, verified through independent laboratory testing.
