CWS Completes Decorative Film Project At DOJ
WASHINGTON – Working under a strict deadline and stepping in for a no-show vendor, Commercial Window Shield has completed a decorative film installation project at the Department of Justice headquarters in the nation’s capitol.
The project was the company’s third designer film installation assignment at a DOJ-occupied building over the past several years.
The project involved installing Decolite Winter Morning decorative film to the assistant attorney general’s office at the historic building on Pennsylvania Avenue, seven blocks from the White House. The neo classic structure was renamed the Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building in 2001.
Previously, another decorative film installation company had been awarded the contract, but that company unexpectedly bowed out of the project. Guy Moten, a DOJ facilities support manager, contacted Commercial Window Shield after learning of the company’s previous DOJ decorative film installation projects. The company quickly stepped in and was able to meet the original deadline in completing the project.
In a letter to Commercial Window Shield, Moten expressed his gratitude for the company’s quick response and expertise.
“Please accept our appreciation for the excellent job you and your staff performed,” he said. “As you know, we were facing a very time sensitive issue. We needed the work completed on the original scheduled day. Your readiness to help with a very prompt response to our request helped tremendously in resolving this issue.”
With more than 30 years experience, Commercial Window Shield one of the nation’s leading installers of security, solar reflective and decorative window films. Among its scores of projects, the company has installed film on windows at the U.S. Capitol, Pentagon, and all House of Representative buildings, O’Hare International Airport, the Willis Tower [former Sears Tower], Denver and Philadelphia mints, Merrill Lynch Towers and the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
