LA-area General Contractor Selects CWS

ONTARIO, Calif. – Centerpointe Contractors of Anaheim, Calif., has selected Commercial Window Shield to install fragment retention window film at a building in Ontario, Calif., near Los Angeles.

The Defense Contract Management Agency [DCMA], an arm of the U.S. Department of Defense, is one of the building’s tenants.  DCMA retained Centerpointe Contractors, a general contractor, which then hired Commercial Window Shield. Since 2002, as DCMA has placed a high priority on securing the buildings it occupies, it has worked with Commercial Window Shield on more than 40 film installation projects.

DCMA works with DOD suppliers to make sure defense-related supplies meet all performance requirements and are delivered in time.

At DCMA's Ontario building, Commercial Window Shield will install 8-mil clear fragment retention film using the Dow 995 wet glaze attachment system.

Commercial Window Shield is the world’s largest installer of fragment retention and solar reflective window films.  Among the hundreds of projects the company has completed in its 25 years are the U.S. Capitol, House of Representatives, Pentagon, FBI headquarters, Grand Central Terminal, Merrill Lynch headquarters and O’Hare International Airport.
