WASHINGTON – Commercial Window Shield is protecting windows and saving energy at a downtown Washington building four doors from the White House.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As it did for Phase 1, the city of Jacksonville selected Commercial Window Shield to protect the windows on one of the most important health care facilities in the Southeast.

The project, at the University of Florida & Shands Medical Center, is the result of a second Homeland Security grant received by the city for window protection at the medical center.  Window protection is considered crucial at Shands for potential security and weather-related issues. The medical center is located in one of the country’s largest hurricane belts.

BETHESDA, Md. - Commercial Window Shield has completed a complex and challenging film installation project at the 750,000 sq. ft. Bethesda Metro Center building.

The building's owner, The Meridian Group, had been receiving complaints regarding uncomfortable heat issues from tenants working below the building's atrium. The problem was the sun's reflection off the angled atrium glass. Solar screens, affixed to the atrium glass years earlier, were supposed to handle the problem, but were inadequate.
