GSA SECURITY WINDOW FILM INSTALLATION PROJECT COMPLETED BY CWS
WASHINGTON Commercial Window Shield has completed a shatter resistant security film installation project near the U.S. Capitol and U.S. House of Representatives buildings complex.
The project, at 250 E St. SW, involved installing 7-mil clear shatter resistant security film utilizing a wet glaze attachment system on 176 windows.
Commercial Window Shield was retained for the project by ADI Construction of Springfield, Va. Building owner Piedmont Office Realty Trust of Johns Creek, Ga., hired ADI to renovate one floor of the building for GSA tenant Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.
Commercial Window Shield security film installers were given five days to complete their work while coordinating their efforts with the other trades involved in the renovation project. The company, as usual, completed their work on time to the satisfaction of ADI.
Commercial Window Shield is the country’s largest installer of shatter resistant window film and solar control window films. Among the hundreds of projects the company has completed in its 30 years are the U.S. Capitol, all House of Representative and Library of Congress buildings, Pentagon, FBI headquarters, Grand Central Terminal, Merrill Lynch headquarters, O’Hare International Airport, the Willis Tower [former Sears Tower], the United Nations, and the Philadelphia and Denver mints.
